Washing Systems Announces Appointment of Justin Hanks, as CEO, as John Walroth Transitions to Executive Chairman Ahead of Retirement
Loveland, OH – March 17, 2025 – Washing Systems, LLC (WSI), a leading provider of specialty products and technical services to the commercial laundry industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Hanks as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 1, 2025. This transition comes as John Walroth steps into the role of Executive Chairman prior to his planned retirement.
Justin Hanks, an integral part of WSI’s leadership team, has most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for the past five years. Prior to joining WSI, Justin worked for the Dow Chemical Company for 18 years where his responsibilities steadily advanced in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Global Business Management. In this new role as CEO, Justin will leverage his extensive experience and deep understanding of the company’s strategy and operations to drive its continued success and innovation.

A WSI executive for nearly 31 years, Mr. Walroth has led the company since 2018, during which time WSI achieved significant milestones and expanded its market presence. During his time at WSI, Mr. Walroth established WSI as a leader in the commercial laundry industry through his vision and focus on customer service and sustainability.
